Starting from a darkroom in a military academy in South Georgia, he studied and mastered his craft for almost a decade before opening his own studio in Detroit. From the Deep South to the hills of Pakistan, from the South of France to rural villages in Germany, from churches and chapels to the most dangerous border in the world, tejas uses photography to tell intimate stories, capture forgotten realms, and most importantly, understand himself and those around him.
